VihoX 600×400 positive and negative pressure 3-station thermoformer for lids and small boxes: 600×400 mm forming and cutting area, 100 mm forming depth, 150 mm stroke, 0.12–2.0 mm sheet, 40–60 T cutting force, up to 25–40 cycles/min (reference), 30 kW total power, 30–45 kWh consumption, PP/PS/HIPS/PET/PVC/OPS/PLA/ABS.
The VihoX 600×400 is a positive and negative pressure 3-station thermoformer: forming, cutting and stacking sit at three stations on one frame, and it is the smallest and least power-hungry machine in the range, at a 30 kW total rating.
Its envelope is 600 × 400 mm for forming and cutting, with 100 mm of depth and 150 mm of stroke. Where the larger VihoX models chase area and depth, this one chases pace on thin material: sheet from 0.12 mm up, at up to 25–40 cycles/min. Pressure and vacuum act together, so a plug drives the sheet into the cavity as vacuum pulls it down, keeping a 0.12 mm web from webbing in a lid die. Among the eight materials listed are ABS and HIPS.
For lids and small boxes the bottleneck is rarely forming: the mold draws in a second or two, so the trimming press sets the rhythm. Decoupling the duties lets the press run independently of mold dwell and hands parts to the stacker one at a time.
The 30 kW rating follows: this face needs far less heat than a 710 mm platform, and each half of the press carries a 3 kW forming servo and a 5.5 kW punching servo.
Cups are not this machine’s job: they come off the VihoX-660 / 720 / 750 / 850 cup thermoforming machines, whose single station forms and trims the cup in the cavity.
This model anchors the small end; what the next step up contains settles most orders.
| Position | Model | Forming area | Forming depth | Total power | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One step up — 710 platform entry | VihoX 710×520 | 710×520 mm | 120 mm | 120 kW | Approx. 10 T |
| This model — smallest machine, 30 kW total | VihoX 600×400 | 600×400 mm | 100 mm | 30 kW | Approx. 8.5 T |
| Deepest draw in the range | VihoX 710×900 | 710×900 mm | 150 mm | 120 kW | Approx. 10 T |
The gap between the first and second row is the decision: a 710 mm platform multiplies installed power by four, buying nothing for a plant that never exceeds 2.0 mm sheet.
Values follow the specification sheet line for line, including its qualifiers.

Two boundaries matter. Parts deeper than 100 mm, or sheet wider than 640 mm, need the 710 platform — the 710×520 for lids, the 710×900 where a tall wall is the point. And 40–60 T is a ceiling: a long knife line belongs on an 80 T model.
This is the only machine covering ABS and HIPS, on a list of eight materials.
| Material | Typical parts | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PP | Lids, small boxes, trays | Flexible and heat-tolerant; suits parts stacked warm |
| PS | Lids, thin trays, portion boxes | Forms crisply at high speed |
| HIPS | Opaque trays, boxes, inserts | Offered on this model only; tougher than standard PS |
| PET | Clear lids and display trays | Needs even heating to stay transparent |
| PVC | Industrial lids and inserts | Check local rules and the end use first |
| OPS | Shrink-resistant lids and trays | Low shrink helps where a printed lid must register |
| PLA | Compostable lids and boxes | Narrow window; thin-gauge running is its strong case |
| ABS | Rigid technical boxes and inserts | Listed for this model only |
One mold and one rule die run at a time, both within the same 600 × 400 mm face. Lids are the classic case: a nest of cavities, a plug assisting each draw so the thin sheet does not web, and a die blanking every lid in one stroke. At 40–60 T the knife line must stay inside the tool’s range.

No machine leaves without being powered up and producing parts. The trial is recorded in a package that travels with the shipment: running video, mold trial video on the product it was bought for, retained samples, drawings, manuals and the spare-parts list. Buyers may attend or appoint an inspector before releasing the balance payment.
Can it really run 0.12 mm sheet?
Yes: 0.12–2.0 mm is the specified range, and the reason pressure and vacuum act together.
Which materials are unique to this model?
ABS and HIPS; other models list PP / PS / PET / PVC / PLA.
Why does a small machine need so little power?
This face needs less heat and lighter tooling: 10 kW heating, 30 kW installed.
Is 600×400 enough for a meal box?
For a small food box yes; a standard meal box needs the 710 platform.
What separates it from a cup making machine?
Here a rule die blanks the part; a cup machine forms and trims in one mold.
How many parts per hour?
Cavities times achieved cycles per minute times 60, less changeover and stacking stops.
Can the supply be adapted?
Yes; the standard 380V / 50Hz / 3 Phase input can be customized to site conditions.
What should accompany a request?
A drawing or sample, material and gauge, cavities per cycle, and output per shift.
Tell us the part, the material and thickness, the quantity needed per shift and your supply; we will confirm whether the 600×400 fits and quote the mold, die and auxiliaries. CE documentation available for relevant machines.
