Product Category: Auxiliary Equipment
The final step in a cup line is the one customers actually see. This counting and packing machine takes stacks of cups, counts them, feeds them into a film tube, seals the tube and cuts each bag to length. Rows may be set as one, two, three or four, and the machine counts anywhere between one and one hundred pieces per bag depending on how the recipe is configured.
Counting is optical rather than mechanical, so no counting wheel touches or marks the cups. A PLC manages the sequence while two servo axes drive the film feed and the sealing jaw, with an inverter controlling the conveyor and PID temperature control holding the seal bar steady. Accepted films include OPP, HDPE, PE and CPP heat-sealing materials from 0.02 to 0.06 mm thick, with a maximum web width of about 420 to 450 mm.
Finished bag dimensions run from roughly 150 to 800 mm in length and 250 to 450 mm in width, broad enough for single-file drinking cups as well as multi-row retail packs. Selecting one, two, three or four rows changes both the appearance of the finished pack and the achievable speed, because every row adds a stream that must be counted, advanced and sealed inside the same machine cycle.
Packing speed is quoted at twenty to fifty bags per minute, and that should be read as a capability rather than a commitment: the real rate falls as you increase cups per bag, move to a more awkward cup profile or run a thicker film. Compressed air at about 0.6 MPa is required and depends on the pneumatic configuration selected. One point worth noting is the electrical supply: this machine is supplied as standard at 220V single phase with 380V available on request, making it one of the few units on a cup line that does not require a three-phase feed.

| Machine weight | Approx. 600-1000 kg | Confirm floor loading before installation |
The honest way to plan capacity is to decide the pack format first, then work back to speed. A single-row bag of drinking cups will run near the top of the range, while a four-row bag carrying a hundred cups will not. Tell us the cups per bag and the film you intend to use and we will give you a realistic rate rather than a headline figure.
Between one and about one hundred, configured through the touch screen. The practical limit depends on cup size and bag length.
Not directly. Twenty to fifty bags per minute is a capability range. More cups per bag, thicker film or awkward cup shapes all reduce the achievable rate.
OPP, HDPE, PE and CPP heat-sealing films between 0.02 and 0.06 mm thick, up to roughly 450 mm wide.
It handles disposable plastic cups and paper cups, and yogurt-style cups too, provided the geometry suits the bag format you want.
Each row is an additional stream that has to be counted and sealed within the same cycle, so more rows change both pack appearance and maximum speed.
Not by default. The standard supply is 220V single phase, which is unusual for equipment of this size. 380V is available as an option.
Photoelectrically. No counting wheel touches the cups, so there are no marks on the product and no mechanical wear on that function.
Yes, and that is the normal layout. The stacker feeds cups into the packing machine, which counts and bags them with no manual handling between the two.
Send us the cup dimensions, the number of cups per bag and the film type you plan to use, and we will confirm the row configuration and a realistic packing rate. This machine is normally the last station on a line built from our cup making machines and cup stackers.

Cups arrive from a cup stacker, which is in turn fed by a servo take-out robot drawing from the cup making machines. The packing machine’s 0.6 MPa air requirement is comfortably covered by a 10HP PM VSD screw compressor.
